I guess the real question is could you have pushed hard and deliver today like it was supposed to?

You would have been better off if you could have made it another 50 miles to the TA or one of the 2 Loves in Prescott. That Loves in Malvern is going to be treacherous walking uphill to use the can after the ice hits. But it's still better than parking on a ramp somewhere for two days.
Stay warm. Going to be below 10 tonight and Saturday nights and around 0 Sunday and Monday nights. Won't get above freezing until Tuesday.

    You’re crazy as hell LOL!!

NOPE! Here's the full breakdown, delivered a load from California to Marlboro, New York ( Good Load!! ) on Tuesday, then deadhead same day to Middleboro, Massachusetts to get this load, it's supposed to be a drop and hook, got to the shipper ( Tuesday ), they said my load isn't gonna be ready until tomorrow ( Wednesday ), alright, drop my empty and slept there, I didn't leave the shipper until about 10 AM on Wednesday. So here's the thing, when I got to the shipper I looked at my hours and saw that I had about 16hrs left on my 70 but from Massachusetts to Texas is about 26hrs, the crucial thing is I wasn't gonna get any hours back until yesterday ( Thursday ), if it wasn't for that then I could've made it. So drove about 10hrs on Wednesday, made it to a truck stop somewhere, then drove the rest of my 5 hrs yesterday ( Thursday ) then at midnight I got 9hrs back and drove it today and did all I could. They usually give me a load that I usually do a 34 in or at least they usually align one with when I’m gonna get some recap back, but I don't know what happened this week. So hope this clears things out! If you guys read all of it lol.

Just started my truck this morning. -27F in south dakota. 90/10 blend of #1/#2. Just set my timers and ran my battery powered block heater for a good 4 hours before i cranked it so the coolant and block were around 80 degrees. Zero issues other then that i am going to be adding to get some aerogel and insulateing the bunk area floor to my todo list....
Could you please tell me what kind and how many batteries for bock heater ?
Are they separate from starting batteries ?

Oh yeah, ####, I stopped at the Pilot in Benton instead, exit 121, I stopped to fuel and I had about 20 minutes left on my clock so I said screw it and stayed there instead lol. And yeah I have a full tank of fuel, I'm gonna idle all day long for 3 days, I almost lost my fingers in a -20° weather in Cedar Rapids, IA once due to a rookie mistake ( shut-off my truck... ), I do not want to experience that again F that!

Sorry, I read that you left Middleborough (my old stomping grounds) yesterday and had to deliver in Sulpher Springs today..Not even in my outlaw days could I pull that off.

Anyway, hope you’re somewhere safe until the dust settles. Grab a hot cocoa and find someone with a checker board.

Its a webesto block heater from this company. Electric APU system - The Most-Advanced APU System basically the way it works is it burns diesel to keep everything warm so uses like 60 or 70 watts just to run the fuel pumps fan and coolant pump. I use around a gallon or so per night, maybe a little more when its stupid cold. I have mine hooked to the truck batterys since my lonestar has a low current cutoff. But if you do the lithium AC system he can hook them to it instead.

With healthy batterys i can run the heater for around 12 hours off the standard batterys i got. He can also upgrade you to a really good AGM system that will run them for a couple days easy.

My whole system, solar panels, batterys, apu, heaters ect was 14ishk installed though the solar cost can vary from 11k to 16k depending on how silly you get with panels.
