I can confirm that antigel is no snake oil. Most additives at the truck stops may very well be, though. Howes antigel is $10 a bottle at Walmart and can treat 320 gal for temps over 0. The antigel treatment is typically broken down into two doses. One for temps over 0, and another for temps under 0. What most people don’t know is that you can create a customized dose for the temps you will be in. This method, however, does require a bit of mathematical skills.

I buy my additive at local stores. Howes and power service run around $9 bottle. On sale under $8, so it's a cost I'll gladly eat to not gel.

I noticed my Detroit smoking more especially when using the Jake. Hopefully it's the power service in the tank.

Well, well, well. Project Farm YouTube channel put various antigel additives to the test! Video was released a day ago. Howes came out ahead of Power Service. Hahaha.

I watch this guy all the time. He offers IMO good independent results in his testing. I was surprised at the results as well.

The RV was hilarious but really had nothing to do with the test. Just in Case your in the middle of nowhere and run outta gas with a case of 911 behind the seat.

They are running a commercial saying they grow algae for fuel purposes.

One must wonder how to treat a growing living being slowly clogging your 18 wheeler?

The fuel algae that clogs is actually fungus or bacteria, the algae they are bragging about is algae producing hydrocarbons.

Different organism, and the bad one(s) isn't really a energy producer.
