Yeah I think someone pulled out a FL voodoo doll. At least we'll be back in the 70's tomorrow. I'm probably going to have to work soon, which means my vow of not seeing snow this winter will most likely be broken, unless I get a load to TX!

Be careful what you wish for. In TX you're liable to see ice instead of snow.NavigatorWife, fortycalglock and Mudguppy Thank this.

Could be possible he picked up a load from one of those idiot shippers that only wants you there if you have 1/2 full tanks or less so they can get more freight on the wagon.NavigatorWife Thanks this.

I've run a quarter tank from OR to FL before. I guarantee I would not run out of fuel in a well forecasted winter storm. There is a large section of society that are idiots. Unfortunately, with such a low barrier of entry, trucking sees more than their fair share. BTW, if it came to it, I'd gladly pay an overweight ticket vs running out of fuel. In my experience, the ticket is far cheaper.

Funny reply about wanting to get a load to TX to escape the snow hahaha I remember thinking that in 2009 or 2010 during Super Bowl Week in Dallas! I escaped KC and got stuck in hours of traffic going down from OKC to Dallas. What a mess! Then same thing trying to leave haha
NavigatorWife Thanks this.
