I think I was on 94 in WI for just about every daggum winter storm they had last year. Ice, then snow, then s'more ice and I couldn't believe the lack of salt shakers (snow plows for you 4-wheelers and newbies) out there.

    lol.....NEVERRRRRRRRR.

Well actually, I was born and raised up in northern MN so I actually lilke the cold and snow. Of course, they hardly close the roads over there. Here, everyone is a panzy, lol.

I took a pic of a wreck, you take a pic of the same wreck on the opposite side...what are the odds!

there is a cause for these wrecks, its called "too fast for conditions" By the way, I'm not a pansey, 11 yrs driving in alaska, but if you see me out there this winter, I,m the guy in the gold truck, in the right lane going slow. If I slow you up, sorry. But in 30 plus years I havn't had a winter accident, been stuck or had a incident YET, yes I did say yet. You can count on your knowledge, not on everyone else"s

I feel for ya Crow! I think they must wait to bring the salt shakers out until the storm is almost ended! I had to drive up to Tomah every time hubby took hometime, so I got to see a lot of that crap too. It got absolutely ridiculous last winter. They'd barely get things cleaned up from one snow storm, and another would come through.

Here's my old truck. I was supposed to have been riding passenger while driver #2 was at the wheel, but I was driving my supervisors pickup truck instead (he was sick and catching some rest).

Driver rolled the truck 4 times in the ditch with a full load of explosive perforating guns (oilfield stuff), as well as powder charges and various detonators on board, and 2 tanks of compressed nitrogen. None of it went off (luckily). (yes I know Nitrogen is inert, but the tanks weren't damaged)

It's a pretty sobering experience when your buddy starts screaming on the cb. He was in total shock. Happened November 2 years ago. We had to give him first aid and keep him from passing out until the air ambulance helicopter landed on the highway and took him to hospital.

No broken bones! I told him to buy a lottery ticket.

No broken bones, and nothing blew up? Somebody's guardian angel was working some serious overtime that day!
