..I'm not surprised, a few years back we had a bad snowstorm in Nebraska that shut down I-80 between Lincoln & Omaha; when it opened up I saw nothing but SUV's & 4-wheelers rolled or stuck in the median on my way to Omaha.. I only saw 1 car (station wagon) & maybe 2 18-wheelers stuck in the median in that 80 mi. span..

..and this also reminds me that was the same day i was on a flat stretch of I-80 in the left hand lane (had passed a snow plow in the right lane) & i saw a state trooper pull off the shoulder ahead of me, now if this has ever happened to you, you will know what i mean, i came up on him so fast i couldn't even tell he had stopped after he left the shoulder & by then i was almost on top of him (he hadn't turned any of his warning lights on either!) Thank God the snow plow was a good distance behind me & no one was in the right lane bcuz i caught it in time to change lanes & miss rear ending him.. so remember anything can happen when u least expect, just be careful out there & keep your eyes on the road.

Ah! I saw when I first looked at the pic, but couldn't decide what caused it. Good call, LostNFound!

Starting my driving career tomorrow. From the looks of some of these pics I'm glad I'll be with a trainer at least through Feb. Hope they're a good one...

I've always thought one of the best times to go through training is in winter. That way, you have someone with you that has experience to help you out with the winter garbage.
