I dont wear it all the time, in fact I dont put it on till I get a call or make a call and I never have had it out side the truck. And I dont use it at all at night.

Blue Parrott is the best one I have found, people can hear you and you can hear them real clear. I do not wear mine all the time, after awhile of using it you can put it on very easy one handed.

I had the ear problems that snowwy has had which is why I went to Blue Parrot. I had a Moto one and an original Jawbone. They made my ears hurt after a few hours, and would inevitably lead to an ear infection. I have my eyes on a new Alpine stereo with built in Bluetooth, but I want to put some sound deadening in first. My 2010 Nissan Murano has BT built in and it is fantastic.

My dad drives for Roadway. I think they spec their trucks without insulation or weatherstripping. At least that's what it sounded like when I would talk to him on the phone. Imagine standing next to a tv with the volume all the way up with nothing but white noise. One day I call him when he is supposed to be driving, and it is dead silent. I say "are you not working?" He says he is driving, I tell him his phone sure is quiet. He says he is talking on a Bluel Parrott. I drive a worn out Volvo daycab, and my wife can't stand calling me while I'm driving, so for christmas, I got a Blue Parrott. Now, she doesn't hesitate to call and says its totally quiet. The charge lasts 16 hours and it has a range of about 50 feet. Needless to say, I highly recommend the Blue Parrott. And I take it off when I'm not using it too, people that wear headsets anywhere besides the truck look like dorks, IMHO.

Used the Bird in the past and it was great. Last year I got a Plantronics Voyager Pro. As good if not better than the Bird but without looking like you work at a fast food drive thry window.
Santa brought me the new Jawbone that uses technology Special Forces uses. Presses against check and pics up sound vibration. Very small and today was my first trip with it. Talking in normal voice and people said they had to turn volume down it was so load. No, ZERO, background noise. Once you get correct ear piece and position best sound. Takes some getting used to in ear. But pricey, over $100. -
I agree! I only use it when I am driving, not when I am outside of my truck unless I am drying the truck after a wash or waxing it or something along those lines.
Blue Parrot is what I use. I also have pretty bad hearing problems which is why I bought this one. I tried 3 others that were just not loud enough for me but this one is usually only 1/2 maybe 3/4 turned up. -
Blue Parrot. The newer smaller one someone mentioned is called the Expressway. It has several ways to wear it versus the over the head models. I have one and use it with the behind the neck bracket and its comfortable. Sound quality is great on both ends! Got it on Ebay for right at 60 bucks!

Some CB's have bluetooth, would one of those suffice for the new law?

I have heard they dont work all that great and on top of that its easier having a headset because it is a true hands free device.
