AT&T unlimited throttles from 3G to edge after 3-4gigs now. Call and ask them they will tell you the same. If they keep the grandfathered in unlimited with the new iPhone with 4g I'll be surprised.

The wifi 3G/4g from millenicom is on the sprint network. The 20gig USB stick is Verizon. I have the USB stick and have yet to go over the 20 in 5 months. I watch a lot of video on Hulu and other sites. I just keep the resolution on the lower end to save the data. I also bought an USB extension cable so the stick is on my truck dash in the window while my laptop is in the sleeper. Helps a lot with the signal and speed. Usually. Some areas are slow even in a large city but when that's the case I usually see a bunch of wifi signals on my laptop. A lot of truckers online using the same tower it's gonna slow down.

Don't know about AT&T but Verizon doesn't slow down. I usually test the speed after I'm over 10 or 15gb so I know I'm good to download movies.

Besides Netflix, I usually download a few HD movies. I just leave the laptop on while driving and the phone on wifi mode. At night I plug it into USB so it downloads even faster.

I'm usually around 15-18gb a month but have gone over 23-25gb a few times in the last year. Some of those blu-ray movies are 4-6gb each.

Try FoxFi, the app itself is not in the market, but the ad-on is there with a link to the apk.

That's what I use...It only works on some phones though.
Must be a Sprint thing where they've taken it off the Market.
Shows up for me on the Market thru Verizon.

My hotspot whatever it is fell on the floor today, had to lock it down for some idiot coming off the ramp. It hit the floor, pieces of plastic everywhere.

Easy tether is a great usb tether app. When I had the Thunderbolt, it was the only way I could tether on 4g and still talk on the phone. Just a note, you need the paid app to access https(secured) sites.
