Out of everything in my truck my carhardt jacket is what I couldn't live without. Waterproof, and doesn't tear, etc. Thing is a champ. If you have room, I would take a safety vest and hard hat so you don't have to borrow one from shippers. No idea who the last person was wearing them.

Don't need a coffee maker, don't drink coffee. So between a lunchbox oven, microwave, crock pot or HotLogic cooker, what would you choose?

I'll look into the jacket, thanks. Since I'll likely be running in the northeast, I'll likely need a good, tough, waterproof jacket. For the hardhat, well, I'm thinking one of them cowboy hat ones I saw at the Iowa80. Pretty classy!

That depends on what power sources you have available. If you don't have a 1500 Watt 120V power source available, then you're going to have to stick with 12V appliances.

If you have 120V available at 1500 Watts, then go with the microwave and crock pot.

Some places actually wont allow the Cowboy style pails. Just so you know, and if your on a budget, look at the walls brand car heart jackets, i prefer the fit and feel of them personally, and they are cheaper.

Well, if we're turning serious. I ran the first while with half of that. I would say Carhart bibs and coat for the cold. 2-4 pairs of gloves. Toque (beanie). Long underwear. Shorts/Ts/running shoes. Flashlight. ATLAS, the laminated coil bound one. Dirty laundry bag. GPS for city work. Survival kit for cold weather months. US cash if you're border crossing

Coil bound notebook for notes, and mileage notations. If you're on paper it better to use your notebook as a reference when you're making your logs fit.

Most OTR trucks come with a CB.
