I don't "get away" with anything. I have a concealed carry permit that allows me to legally carry in 33 states. I try not to go to the states that don't honor it.outerspacehillbilly, mje, SheepDog and 1 other person Thank this.

I was under the impression that there were people out there who would want to steal whatever you were hauling.
mje Thanks this. -
Would a pair of blast knuckles be allowed?...The noise alone scares the crap out of people and if we get bored at a TS we can zap each other fir S&Gs!

Yes! I have KW9, Redd and Nana on speed dial!
mje, outerspacehillbilly and Injun Thank this. -
So let them have it. I'd like to see somebody steal 45,000 lbs of roof shingles or a 45,000 lb steal coil!
From what I hear you'd have to pay somebody to rob you!
mje Thanks this. -
Ain't it the truth. I had a burglar break into my house a few years ago. Once he got in and looked around he felt so sorry for me he went down the street, broke into some classier houses and brought me back some good ####!Last edited: Nov 7, 2010

Wow! Thankee for the guffaw...laughed until I cried and still getting chuckle spasms.

BTW: In answer to the O/P. I do not carry anything except a huge attitude, some common sense, a little bit of training and a folding knife. If they want the truck and load, just give me enough time to get my dog out...which will be plenty of time for the alarm and ignition cutoff to arm themselves. By the time the thief realizes he or she needs the code, I'm already halfway across the parking lot on the phone to police. If the truck is successfully stolen after that, Lo-Jack will help track it down.Last edited: Nov 7, 2010
