I bet the tow company from Pagosa has some sad stories.
    RIP Driver.

Sucks when ANY DRIVER is Killed on Any Road whether a Steep Grade or Flatland.
Stuff Happens Everywhere in The U.S.A.
I've been, with an 18 wheeler, on some "Spooky Mountain Roads" in PA., NY., WY., UT., AZ., NM.!!
I watched some of the Drone footage until I saw bits of the Tractor.

Anyone Know Someone who failed to make the bottom of I-40E from Black Mountain, NC??
What about those 2 seemingly useless "Runaway Ramps"?

I drive Wolf Creek almost weekly. The 25 mph downhill speed limit is a pain but it may save your life.
That hill is to be respected no matter what weather you are driving in.

Bud A., alds, mjd4277 and 2 others Thank this.
