Woman Kills Self Before Home Foreclosure

    She probably didn't think about that in her decision did she.

    My sister and her husband sold their house to stave off foreclosure after he lost his "secure" job. It was a tough decision and they had a rough go at it, having to start over again after living in a nice house with the big yard and the pool. Ten years later he's a Rep for a very large Ag supply company in a new house and life is good.

    What I don't get is that the banks will work with anyone who has fallen behind in their mortgages. Banks do not make money off of properties they "carry on the books". So it is in their best interests to assist the homeowner in a potential foreclosure. And this is especially true now more than ever since the sub-prime loan reset, there are more properties "On the Books" than most banks can handle.
