Here in Ohio, we used to have Hot Dickens' Cider ... it was a cool commercial~! @Gunner75 do you remember that? @F150Jim ? @johndeere4020 ?? @crappiejunkie ? Gawd...i'm old. Guess it's cold now...or then?

Where I was raised we had a farm run by Hubers generate Cider the old way in season when the apples are done growing. Leave a couple in the fridge a month or two and presto wonderful hard cider. But not too hard. We don't get commercials for that cider, must be unique to Ohio.

Our part of Maryland Southern PA was and probably still is literally a land of milk and honey. And all sorts of things to eat. I wonder how much urbanization has destroyed the farms over the years, but not too much.

 

^^^ they used to have a radio commercial, advertising it "hot" .... had to take it down, for obvious reasons, LoL!

 

@G13Tomcat , there was a bob and tom skit that talked about dickens cider.....lol, it was pretty funny!
