Got a 30 year flat bed guy in my contacts who I talk to daily. Guy was flatbed forever and did alot of oversize

My load securement mentor would have me send him pictures of my loads then he would give me ideas on how to secure them. Good guy, no longer in trucking, but he's always there if I have questions

Not sure if Melton does this or not but when I worked for Maverick they encouraged (though it was not required) experienced drivers without flatbed experience to go out with a trainer for a week or two. Might be worth asking Melton if you can do this or not.

There gunna provide everything I'll need right?
Less stupid question. What kind of ppe will I need to bring with me. All I can think of is some coveralls to keep my cloths clean but thats hardly a protective item -
