Didn't the US military used to give soldiers meth to keep them alert in battle? Or is that just urban legend?

US military "go pills" are amphetamines
War on drugs apparently does not apply to the military -
My last job dealt with very confidential documents (hospitals, banks, etc.) and I had no trouble with fingerprinting and background check. The only thing is they were fine with simply calling my ex-managers for confirmation. Your implications that I've done anything worse than work under the table is becoming tiring.

Before going into trucking, you may want to go and get a job for at least 3 plus years to obtain a verifiable work history, with W-2 forms and income tax returns to back it up.
Also, use those 3 plus years to SERIOUSLY get yourself physically fit and CLEAN your system out of all drugs and medicines. Eat PLENTY of healthy nutritious foods, drink PLENTY of clean water, and drink PLENTY of herbal teas to seriously flush out your system.
TOTALLY abstain from all alcoholic beverages, illicit "medications" illicit drugs, and all "junk" foods that can be a SERIOUS contributors to heart disease, cancer, and diabetes.
Good luck to you! God bless you and your family!

I thought it might be satire because of the overblown health and fitness stuff. Truckers aren't exactly role models there.
