Just got word today that I have to do the workflow training some time in the next 2 weeks. They are planning on switching us over not long after that.

Heres what I think is a little screwed up. WE learned the mac system in orientation, but all TE's are on workflow? Was taught his version of workflow last week during road training.
SO now I gotta go back for SQT and do what? Test on a system I have NO practical experience on? See at orientation they pulled 3 people out because their accounts were already using workflow. They said the rest would be transitioned at a later date.

I really hope my DBL will help me through this and get me the most miles reasonable/available.

My TE went in for the workflow training while I was with him. I just had to sit in the truck for 3 hours.

They changed him over to workflow the week after I left.

When I went to Green Bay for my SQT they didn't have me actually touch a computer until the end. All the assignment macros were printed on a page the same as they were during orientation. The only thing done on any kind of a computer is some winter driving training and a couple more boring videos. At least they didn't have that British dude in those ones.

When I messed up the Mac18 during my SQT they just gave me hints and told me to go back and try it again. Took a few tries but I eventually got it.

After finishing my SQT I met with the rookie DBL and was given a couple pages. Those pages list the steps for what macros to send and when while you are at a shipper/consignee. Was told that it wasn't a big deal to bother memorizing the old system because I would be switching over soon anyways.

I've got my home time coming up this weekend so I'll probably end up with a load that passes through Gary next Monday. Will see if they have room for me then.

Work flows coming for us all..Some dedicated accts. are already on it.It seems like a P.I.T.A. but who knows.Im sure it will help someone sitting at a desk all day.
It eliminates the mac 18's and several other macs.If i remember correctly,it takes the macs down to only 10.
It is supposed to keep loads preplanned as well, which will be a good thing. You will not get to go forward on the qualcom, though if your info isnt entered. You can see all load info on one page. The punkin book is also getting a makeover.

Wasnt my experience with my TE last week. Click on Dispatch from the nav screen and it pulls your run up several ways. By section only and whole run.
