Well I have talked to the HR dept for a few companies today and yes while I may get my DOT it is like a couple of drivers have pointed out, not going to happen as long as i have a trace of morphine in my system. And their point is well taken especially since I was a State Trooper 35 yrs ago.....if I get in an accident and a urinalysis or blood test is drawn, whether the accident is my fault or not a good atty can do something with that information to help their client. So I backed the flow down off the pump 15% at the doctors office in Charlotte about a month ago and I am making another appt tomorrow to have them back it off another 10% as soon as they can get me in. I will continue to do so about every four weeks until it is all gone and just saline is circulating. Unless of course I get to the point where the chronic pain is unbearable and I have to stop then I guess I am screwed. Thanks again to all the drivers that took time to reply And while you are driving down that interstate take a minute daily to say a prayer for our young warriors that are still in that god forsaken sand pit in the middle east
