    It happened to me once but I never found out why. I've only driven OTR and every company headquarters was in a state other than my CDL. Was never a problem.

    Then in the 90's, JB was the first mega with a big pay raise. I switched over to them & was assigned out of the Louisville terminal. At the time I had a California CDL & JB made me switch to KY & I had to use a KY Mailboxes Etc address for my CDL (never actually resided there).

    It never made sense to me but I did it anyways. Since 9/11/01 I don't think that's allowed anymore as you have to have a true residential address behind any PMB or PO shown on your CDL.
