Working around the ELD mandate

There are ways to defeat ELD logs, modify all 4 lines to include drive time,.. or complete altering of the 14hr clock. I've known about it since Nov,.. started testing it in January. It works and is undetectable.

The way it works is by modifying where the logs go (The server that records and stores them). Then via a web applet you have complete administrative control.

My truck is a 98,.. I'm still on paper. I drive at my own pace and not rushed to beat any HOS clock.

Then get an older truck that is exempt. If you can't do the load without cheating the log rules, then it shouldn't be done. Tell the person giving you the load you need more time.

I'm on paper logs. I must be an outlaw,. criminal type. I drive an older pre emissions truck. The audacity someone like me must have to be out here pulling loads.

All I did was state that there are ways to alter Elogs. I have tested it to see how it works. I dont need to use it.

I drive at my own pace. I sleep when I am tired. I drive when I am awake. I work comfortably doing my own thing. I enjoy taking naps when the mood hits me. I dont chase miles,.. I dont chase the HOS clock window,.. I do my own thing. Been doing it this way for years. I dont want to have to drive 11 (Or more) hours straight. Thats too exhausting for me. I'm not working any harder than I absolutely have to. I bought my truck with the sole purpose so I would not have to be on ELDs.

So you guys can fuss and complain about how I dont follow the rules,.. I dont care. My way is much safer than if I had to comply 100% with HOS.

You guys realize the mega carriers are the ones that got this pushed through right? They have false info to the fmsca to make it look like tired drivers and drivers running illegal were making the roads unsafe. I'll guarantee you there are still just as many tired drivers on the road now. The continuous 14 hour clock is the main problem.

I will definitely still vote republican. I'd rather put up with this crap in my job than live with what the libtards want done.

Unfortunately yes. This is the only industry where people want to ##### them selves out and basically work and no life. This is why we are where we are because people don’t want to better themselves.
