I would like some info as a student driver working at hubs in Nashville TN Chicago Heights and OK City just the road driver jobs. How long it takes to be on call till you get a bid run? The average pay/miles a week? Do they try to make you team up first? I don't have a wife or kids yet, I could stay out 4 to 8 weeks, how many days off could I get or would they always send me back to the home hub? I know I will get various responses to the 3 hubs above I am looking forward to getting the information Thanks in advance!!

I wanted to get some info on the 3 hubs I posted, I know where I can work at, if you can't provide the information why respond to me? YRC is not the only company I'm interested in.

i know that with any ltl company you will start at the bottom. you maybe on a extra board or have to call in every night. you may get laid off during the slow time until your seniority builds. last time i check. yrc made you give back i thank 10% each week. if you got a wife and kids. better think super hard about yrc, abf, usfholland etc. maybe look into ups freight,od, fedex.

can you move freely around the country. i would check on hubs that i could get on easy and not have little work or get laid off.
