@rollin coal drives for Walmart and is active on this site. Send him a private message.

Thanks @JB7!

Also, @JB7 if you have time to talk to the trucking as I am looking to get into the field it would be appreciated. Apparently I need to have so many posts before I can PM someone.

9 year Wally driver here, if you got some questions shoot them my way and I’ll do my best.
Loose Caboose Thanks this. -
How do you do it, fam? Not being able to talk on a headset as I drive would drive me crazy. Is the money worth it?
-
My son was a Walmart driver and I talked to him every night. They were allowed to be on a headset as long as they weren't in a construction zone or in adverse weather conditions.BrothaTrucka513 Thanks this.

You can talk as long as you want on headset while driving down the road. The phone restrictions were eased a few years ago. WM does frown on you yapping on the phone while driving around dc’s, docking trailers, bumping docks, etc.BrothaTrucka513 Thanks this.

I would like to work for the GM DC out of Seymour Indiana. My question is do they have weekend and night time shifts for GM DCs? My ideal start time would be Thursday at 5:00 p.m. that way I would get the $0.07 per mile for weekend miles and for nighttime miles and $0.14 per mile for weekend nights. If I'm going to be out I want to run without traffic to get more miles hand activities and I want to get the premium. This way I'll be maximizing my time away from home so that I can enjoy home time when I get back.

I dreamed of working out of either Seymour or Gas City.
