What about on board cameras? Do they have them or the driver facing cameras? Any plans on getting the driving facing ones if they don’t have them?

Also, what are your opinions on the Shelbyville, tn or Hopkinsville, ky? Have you heard good or bad about them? One better than the other? Are they a grocery dc? Thank you.

I left in 2018 when they were talking about putting outward and inward facing cameras in but the inward facing one wouldn't be turned on. I asked if a light came on when the camera was switched on and they said no, the driver wouldn't know it was on.
Maybe a current driver will have more info. -
Yes we have outward facing cameras, and yes most trucks have an inward facing camera as well. The inward facing cameras ARE NOT ACTIVATED AND NOT USED. Matter of fact, most inward facing cameras have stickers/tape/googly eyes on them (including my truck). I've never heard one mention of WM turning the inward facing cameras on.
The minute WM ever decided to turn on their inward facing camera...is the minute I'd head for the door. And I know I wouldn't be the only one. I have absolute faith that WM would never make that decision. -
That's nice to hear.
What I'd also like to know is:
Is the fleet 100% automatics?
The "phone records" that people speak of, is it just call and text history? Or are they looking at podcasts app, internet browsing history, google maps use, etc, etc.? -
Again I can only comment of how it was a few years ago. When they started the phone policy they would go back 3 days from an accident/incident but now I think it's only one day. Back then they only wanted to know if you were on the phone at the time, don't think it mattered who you were talking or listening to.

There may be a few manual transmissions here and there in the WM fleet… but they’re about to go the way of the dodo. So if grinding gears is your thing, then WM prolly isn’t a good matchScaniaLW Thanks this.

Hopkinsville is a GM DC & Shelbyville is a Grocery DC. Hoptown is a good DC but i`ve never pulled out of Shelbyville.

Faith is the bridge between ignorance and knowledge.
Claiming absolute faith means that you have absolutely zero knowledge of the subject.alds Thanks this. -
Very astute analogy Moosetit. Perhaps the use of the word “faith” has illuminated apparent ignorance and resentment to the less informed..so let me change “faith” to “NO REASON TO BELIEVE”.
Better? And while I’m correcting wrongs here, let me ask you Moosetart, when did you work at Walmart?Rugerfan and Moosetek13 Thank this.
