I mean they would give me a load going deep into canada with good miles but would split the load have me grab another trailer and it would be a short crappy haul. Then I would get a load out of Canada and it would be the same thing looks like a good run but then would turn into a split someone else would get the miles while I did all the grunt work of going through Customs which is / was a huge pain in the arse.

 

Were you on the Canada fleet?

 

I have also been to Terminal in Lithia Springs. The first time they repaired my APU all to my relief. The second time wiper blades, coolant leak and a u joint. If you are being rushed through maybe you should say something. Every time you take that truck on the road it's your life. By the way I've had many suggestions from other truck drivers to avoid the terminal. Seems they will red tag your truck and keep it for three days to repair it. But if you'd rather drive it in a state if disrepair..........

 

You can sometimes get them to agree to let someone else, like TA fix it. always make sure to exagerate the problems.

"i need a tire its 1/32" of an inch" turns into "i need a tire, its bald, theres belts showing.....etc"

they dont give a crap about APUs though

 

Was not on the "Canada" Fleet just ran in and out of there sometimes Hated montreal traffic was frigging brutal

 

Just asking since I was when I was with Werner. The weekend crew, which is typical anywhere, porked me a couple times. Had me sitting in that little drop yard off Maupaug rd in Mass. I know I misspelled that, but I do recognize the area whenever thru there. LOL. My fleet manager about came unglued at that one.
