Carr Recruiting Solutions is a temp service for drivers. Try it and maybe luck out.
NFI Industries is big all over NY and may have something regional.
AmeriGas is local; propane company using straight trucks.
McLane Foodservice might take you as a "Driver Associate" which means you assist another driver making deliveries. After a while, you will qualify as the "first seat" driver.Last edited: Feb 14, 2017

Would it help to call and talk to the recruiters and be up front about my mvr? I'm not saying they are going to let me squeak by or anything but at least find out what I may need to do to qualify?

What company are you with now that gave you a shot,
firemedic2816 Thanks this. -
Celadon, I also qualified for cr england and swift.

Try the county also; Oswego County Opportunities Inc. -
A company is required to get your current MVR. Most states have a program where after 3 years your record is clean.
Your question about telling any about your past that has not asked directly about it shows you have a good heart and a weak mind. Don't volunteer anything. -
Just go online and purchase your mvr. Its not that expensive. What you think they see may not be what they see.
