Worn king pins=steering wander?

    Glad you found your problem. With mine I just got tired of wasting time on it. I'm certain the culprit is improperly installed king pin bushings as it never had this problem with the old king pin bushings. But like I said it gets tiresome dealing with the downtime and shops that really don't seem interested in fixing their screwups. It's why over the years I take on more and more of the heavier jobs because of all the incompetence out here expecting guys like me to make their paychecks.

    About checking toe-in: read up on the procedure to do it correctly. There is very little extra effort to do it the right way. When searching for the cause of a problem doing the diagnostic procedures the right way reduces the time needed to find the problem (usually). As 04 low max said go in slow motion.
