worry about this or no

    my air pressure did this. 12.7 d60. glider .

    it did this like once or twice last night. i chamged my air dryer filter like 2 weeks ago

    Sounds like an air pressure regulator. It mounts to the air compressor. Its around $50. The ones with the blue plastic cap are factory set and non adjustable. Black cap is adjustable. Hope this helps

    The air governor is what tells the air dryer purge valve to open when the maximum set pressure is reached

    No not your air dryer. In the pictures above Ive got one with a blue cap. Its preset NOT to go above 125 psi, its not adjustable.

    The black one, Has I believe like a screw or something that you can make control what psi is set to. Yours might need to be dialed back a bit. With that said, my old Columbia mine use to go right where yours was for years, no problems.

    If it’s only occasionally, it may be just be the gauges. I hit them, sometimes and they’ll read correctly. 125-130 ok
