Anyone been on the Moki Dugway near four corners on UT-261? I recall the sign says something like 10k lbs limit but there are a few U-tube videos of semi on Moki Dugay. I like the sign at the top “1000 ft drop next 3 miles”

Here a link with some data and pictures. http://www.midwestroads.com/otherstates/mokidugway/

First time over McClure, empty flatbed in a snow/slush storm following a plow truck with a broken blade from Carbondale So.. His hydraulics quit so he couldn't drop it, he dumped sand til he ran out.

oh hell, Berthoud is a piece of cake, Dec. '08 til March '09 ran it 6 days a week @ 80,000 from coming from Walden, Co. back to Denver. My truck was 3 months old at the time, I loved it, pissed my co-workers off because I would drop off the Empire side in 7th with HI jakes and only touch the foot brakes three times. Co-worker with his Freightshaker would have to stop at the bottom to let his brakes cool.

Guanella isn't a truck route unless your doing construction on it. CSP/Clear Creek SO don't take kindly to trucks running it.

Courtney here watergated Jim's account. Well been on a lot of mountain roads, some not exactly roads over the years. I would have to say the worst would be Rodger's Pass in British Columbia Canada, not so much for the road can fly though there it is all the #######es in their cars who think they have to take the inside even if it is in your lane. It is better in winter less #######es out on the roads.

Teton Pass Hwy. Hwy 33-22 ID/WY. In the winter. Fully loaded with taters picked up in Victor, ID. Was a real treat since it took about a half hour to get to the bottom. Nice of WY not to have any POE on this route into their state. I dont recommend taking it unless you are used to taking passes. Long way down if you cant stop and nothing but trees to stop you. 5-10 mph switchbacks. Not advisable for loaded trucks either. Have a wonderful day and be safe out there drivers.
