One or two of you mentioned Cabbage. I made a short video about going down Cabbage a few months ago. Saw a flat bed that had lost his brakes and had to use the emergency trunk ramp. Here is the link.

I only hate going down Cabbage when it's snowy.

I run Buckhorn several times a year, it's one of my faves. I think Buckhorn has more turns than Oregon Mountain on 299. I've had my power steering fluid overheat and start to cavitate trying to boogaloo down Buckhorn.

I think my all time best was Alder Point to Garberville in a chip truck @90K plus. The first time I did that I was following a psycho friend of mine that kept yelling at me on the radio to hurry up.

Whoever mentioned British Columbia gets a +1 too.

Used to run Loveland with a ski charter or sightseeing bus (Greyline, out of Denver,) before there was such a thing as Straight Creek Tunnel. (That was the original name for Eisenhower Tunnel.) Also used to run Berthoud (US 40) over to Granby and then up and over Trail Ridge Road through Rocky Mountain National Park, and back down through Estes Park and back to Denver.

    Thanks for that, Indiana Jack!

Actually watching part of a downgrade drive (with the reminder about the runaway ramps) may well make me more cautious when I start driving. I'm very accustomed to the Rockies, but that was a heck of a reminder that things are different in the big trucks.
