If you noticed what I said at the end of my rant, BrokeringBad, I said good brokers don't need to check up on drivers. They give us all information up from so I can actually plan ahead, and only ask me to call when loaded and empty. If the load takes five days to run, no check call is required and they don't bother me with location updates. If I have a problem en route and may be delayed, the broker will be notified promptly.

Sometimes it is not the brokers decision as to whether you get bugged by check calls for location updates every few hours. That would be the customer paying yours and the brokers rate requiring updated systems and such. I do freight where they will either call every couple of hours or ask me to. It's not a big deal and just part of the job. As long as they are clear and upfront about it from the get go that is fine.
Of course some nervous nelly worried about their cheap account... where they reluctantly paid you over the top calling at 6am to see if you are on schedule? Now that's annoying, but I will still take the call and my phone is always on no matter what.double yellow Thanks this. -

David Ext: 51298 is a liar. Don't book any loads with him. He will use you and throw you away.. And his team is all just like him.

I have used TQL a few times and besides them being annoying with their check calls I have been able to book pretty good freight from them. I have been called crazy when I gave them my price once, but they gave it to me lol!

Edit. This isn't me. Been getting 4-5 e-mails a day like this from TQL.
Do you guys double broker at all? My company can help with any spot freight or high volume you might have trouble covering

Very true i have told them to #### off numerous times. they have a nasty attitude there and no respect for drivers.

I used to haul reefer and dry van and flats and used TQL and got to know some of the brokers over there. This company is a bunch of cheats liars and inexperienced kids that treat drivers like scum, even tho the drivers work their fingers to the bone to make sure the country has the things they need. TQL screws its customers by overcharging like crazy, and what kills me is that a bunch of people say oh TQL is great if you ask me if you are making 2000 a load profit something is not right ???? that seems a little crazy to me. But any way i will never work with TQL ever and i advise all my fellow trucks look for better brokers and stop getting screwed by a company that makes 2.18 billion a year by screwing drivers and customers ... TAKE A STAND ALL .... and be safe out there !!!

Yeah TQL cuts a lot from the loads. Once I had a load with them and I was barely able to get 1000 for it in total (TQL wanted to pay 800$), but when I got loaded and shipper gave me all BOL's for that load I found there invoice with the total pay for that load which was 1500$, so TQL cut 1/3 from that cheap load easy!! I can't even imagine how much they cutting from more expensive loads!!
