    Oh, certainly not. Freight is a VERY different game with a VERY different schedule, at times. My five years of 24/7 on-call at ABF deserved an absolute mint. Most people can't hang with that kind of life.

    And not only did you hack it through ABF for that long, you let your testicles swell even larger by jumping to buster Brown to potentially set yourself up for the same fate!

    I do envy that you pulled it off though.

    Oh, and in the beginning, it was EXACTLY the same job. 24/7 0000 Monday until 0600 Saturday morning. And they ALWAYS save the good Saturday morning stuff for the newbies. Lol

    The lifestyle, the money, the insanity...I could never do truckload again.

    I chose this username at the end of my LTL career, maybe six months before going to Brown. It has a bit do with privacy, but it also was a commentary on my life at ABF: I felt anonymous in my own life. No time off, no ability to make plans...it got dark.
