nightime LTL regional, daytime LTL delivery and now I deliver with a
flatbed. I don't make the same money that I made LTL but I start
every day about 6:30 am and get about 40 to 45 hours a week.
No week ends. No more terminal manager who does not care about the
drivers or the company only about what makes him look good. But
I agree with the "make our job harder comment" because I noticed
that many of the places I used to be able to pull over are gone.
Replaced by no stopping or standing signs. The worse thing to me
is the government wants to legislate that we get a certain amout
of rest but if we want to take a catnap (or in my case tighten a load)
there is no where to pull over that is safe. So I pull over where it says
emergency stopping only. -

Not but 10 months into my truck life I had it taken away cause of the new two ticket within a year equals 2 month suspension law that i am pretty sure a lot of you dont know about. besides that sitting at a truck stop with no freight is no fun in less it's a sunday and you have reception on your television or are next to an idleaire so you can watch the nfl games
