This is good advice but I’d recommend getting your hazmat after you pass the test. A few people told me they go extra hard on you if you get the hazmat before.
The last company I worked for seemingly targeted those with “mild” records, cherry picked those who were truly trying to get out of the gutter and gave them a chance. You can pay off big time for a company if they’re good at picking those who truly are trying to turn their life around. They’re usually very grateful to have the job. And they’re trying to prove themselves. They ended up with some really good drivers that way. The key is picking the ones that truly want to turn their lives around. Not the one still caught up in the mess. Lol Trucking is a great way to do it too if you’re serious. You can walk in broke with a backpack and nothing else and next thing you know you’re making 1000 to 1500 bucks a week. You can clean up your life real quick with that kind of money. And it’s enough to keep you motivated and on track
Why would you care about “a few more” when you’ve got Western Express in your pocket? I mean, once you’ve got yourself a Kentuckian, you don’t bother with, say, a lowly Hawaiian, right?
