Of all the difficult docks I've been to in m y life, this one wouldn't even warrant an honorable mention. Yeah, maybe it'd be better if the traffic direction was reversed, but that's about all.
Albertaflatbed, sesame15 and kylefitzy Thank this. -
now, try delivering in downtown Boston, with a 53 footer, and day cab, to Chinatown and Soutie....like i did for like 6 years, with shut down streets, and NO detours for large trucks
then you tell me how easier your job is......at that new location.Albertaflatbed and sesame15 Thank this. -

This is the tightest dock I’ve ever backed into, 2 red lines are the 2dock doors, the little yellow squiggle is the beginning of a hill that drops about 8’,between buildings it’s like 110’, but if you get within like 10’ of the building in front of the dock, there’s a drainage ditch filled with loose rock, first day using this dock, had a veteran driver get stuck in it…
I was running a 379 long hood, not to bad to get into if both docks were empty, but impossible to hit without a spotter if there was a truck in already.
CrappieJunkie Thanks this.
