I understand it all too perfectly. 1 guy isn't making millions for the megas. $250,000 tops and that's pushing it.
I just did a little math. Swift had a gross revenue of $2.425 billion in 2017. They have 20,530 drivers listed on their msc-150 form. That's a revenue of $118,119 per driver. That's gross revenue though. Take out all the shop personal, dispatchers, management, sales guys, etc and I'd be surprised if they net 5k per driver.... Of course they can do that as 5k per driver is still over a hundred million in profit a year....
Do you have a list of their brokers? I would love to know how much they all made brokers > freight carrier you can run multiple department at once and commodity and accounts for shippers with brokers llc or corp acc that has association with one company
Landstar set many annual financial and operational high water marks in 2017, including revenue, gross profit, operating income, net income, diluted earnings per share, truck loads and year end truck count provided by BCOs. Revenue in fiscal 2017 wasapproximately $3.6 billion, an annual Thats landstar as a broker swift is both so were looking at a total revenue of 5-6 billions for swift or more.
Or you could look at their sec filing and get real numbers instead of guessing. You know, like I did....
I need a list of broker llcs or corp that run their loads and accounts aswell as contracts landstar as a broker made 3.6 billions charging only 25% or more per load for their o/o drivers i need to send out freedom of info quests from the irs to findout the totals im 100% sure its financial terrorism numbers of how much were enslaved
Lol. I figure a tanker truck grosses 215k with fuel surcharge. 50k for fuel, another 10k for qual comm , plates, bobtail ins, occ, 2290. Then more for repairs, truck payment, hazmat insurance, rolling stock. Then some driver pay. Truck lasts 5 years?
Or, you could just call Swift's corp offices and i'm sure they will give you the names, phone numbers and rates for all their customers.
LS gross freight bill for the year was 3.6 billion, not their 25% take, You need to learn to read annual reports, not get your info from the counter of knowledge. I guess you know when you run your own numbers you get 100%, brokers and 3PL’s don’t take a cut, they do it as a public service.
