Yes I would do it agin. I got my CDL's 2 years ago. I have no interest going OTR I'm a family guy. Nothing aginst the guy's putting the miles in going down the highways but it's not a life I want.

I don't even drive anymore I have a job that I like but I do like driving and I will keep on doing it in the future. I got my cdl's as a backup basically. I had in my mind with the way things are nowadays it's nice to have something to fall back on if you lose your job or just need a change.

I started local and I'm staying local. Don't listen to anyone out there who tells you that you have to have OTR experiance to find a local job. I'm here to tell you, you don't I started off no experiance and found local within a month of having my license.

Also don't pay the stick it in you price they want for a school. I paid $500 out of my pocket for the school I went to. Yeah $500 is alot for just a license but so is $5000-6000. There is no reason to get in debt just to get a CDL but thats my opinion.

It is what you make it to be in this line of work. If you go in with mindset your going to fail then you will.

It's a CDL. You only get one, no matter how many letters are on it. A, B, or C, it's just a CDL is all he's trying to say.
