Well from what it looks like everyone is going to be stuck with them. And like anything new, there are going to be bumps and glitches. But eventually they will get worked out and you'll learn to live with them.

Or, if they screw up enough big trucking companies to get the lobbyists going, they will eventually do away with them so the companies can go back to screwing with the system and the drivers, just like they do now. . .

And whos fault is it that you waited until the last minute to park? You should have parked at the safe haven 30 miles behind you instead of violating your logs to find your favorite truck stop.

oh please like truck stops are perfectly spaced out like that. And the DOT says i can drive 11 hours not 10.5 so why stop .5 hours early ? just in case? Have fun paying your bills with your Just in case :biggrin_2559:

And have fun paying your bills after you get fired from having too many log violations.

And you get paid by trip miles, not by how miles you run total. Shutting down 30ish minutes early does nothing to hurt your wallet.

In some areas of the country and some towns, you might have to stop 2 hours early in order to guarantee a parking place.

Then explain, why you did to safety.

You cannot have it both ways.

    THBatMan8 Thanks this.

Yup. I-70 through western Colorado, I-90/94 in Montana to name a few where you'll have to stop early. If you wait till the last minute, you deserve the violation for being a idiot.

    You amaze me.

You claim this is illegal and violates the rules, yet you will move your truck on your break to unload or load and around the dock because it is under xxx miles.

Guess you have to cheat somewhere.

Position reporting from EOBRs says that'll give you a violation. If you end a day in Cheyenne and start the next in Salt Lake City, red flags will start waiving.

In the past when you have stated that you can move the truck at slow speeds and not be recognized as movement.
