Would You Report This Driver?

I might ask him if he was in need of food or just trying to get home or even just get a shower. Most of us have been in this spot at one time or another, if so and story checks out I might lend a hand. I would be firm in letting him know his actions could ruin his work record for a long time. Yes, I will turn in a driver for this, but wont use company equipment to due so. I would use my own phone to make this call or go straight to the authorities. I would be careful, you don't know who this driver might be related to !

 

Maybe they are still a bottom feeder comapny because all of their drivers are selling their fuel and all their trucks are now getting 2.6mpg due to the fact????

 

Fuel tax evasion? How do you figure that? If I buy fuel from some smuck his truck will pay more in the long run in IFTA tax. Its based on your MPG you use and beings his truck wont use the fuel he sold his MPG will go way way down while mine , on paper, will go way up because I now have fuel that some on else bought and paid for in there company name.
Dont hear guys trying to sell fuel much these days. When I was going to Vagas Sundays and Mondays was flea market days in the truck stop. Lots of drivers blowed there cash advances for the week and needed money and would sell just about anything.

 

I've heard several times on the CB someone selling fuel or tires. Does anybody do anything? No, because they have to get involved and find out who they are. Most drivers are in too much of a hurry unless they are parked and bored. The ones that do buy are poor owner operators looking for a deal which is far and few between.

If you personally face to face involved me, I would rat you out because I hate a thief. Hearing BS on the CB is just that, BS. I'm not going to play Sherlock Holmes and hunt you down. I have better things to do.

If the truck/trailer showed ARROW....pay double what he/she is asking!

Those drivers were really raked over the coals for sure!

A few weeks ago...had a driver at the Petro offer to "rent" his wife to me for "gas money"!

HEH HEH....seeing her...I don't think he would have waited the 3 minutes I would have needed! He would have been GONE, leaving her with me....I had a weight issue, was grossed out at 79,850...not to mention being grossed out at the sight of her!

 

Anyone want to buy some fuel? $1.298 a gallon! Take it to channel 41!

 

Had something similar happen to me a while ago in EL Paso. I told her "You're gonna have to pay me because I ain't paying you".
