If this were a case of reporting a criminal I would say that is the duty that every responsible American citizen is supposed to do in order to help keep the community safe.

What ever motivated said truck driver to sell said fuel is unknown and hence reporting the intended act of selling the fuel is not a crime in and of itself. Therefore, with all things being even the only option of the offeere would be to decline the offer and continue on with their own business.

Is buying stole fuel any different then siphoning a guys tanks while he is sleeping? Nope, get the guys truck # and call their company. I might not get him fired, but his safety guy might notice a pattern of missing fuel/ poor mpgs.

 

With out knowing all the details I can't say. The company sounds to have screwed him in some way. And probably have him on a watch any way. If they were treating him right he wouldn't be doing that.if he was a good driver they wouldn't be treating him bad maybe his wife and kid needed food money or medicine or he has a meth problem in any case he will not get away with it for long for he is not to smart there is better ways to rip off a company. I own my own my company if I sell fuel I am responsible for it any way so who I'm leased to is not gonna care much they will only can me cause I'm not good with $ the company I'm with will pot me cash if needed so that wouldn't ever happen . I would rather see him go to court for steeling. Than just fired

 

Maybe just maybe he is an owner operator.........
