    TransAm mainly hires experienced drivers for the lease program. They don't go out of their way to hire experienced drivers for the company side.

    look up the actual regulation and check the exemption list to see if you qualify for one and can idle. I have the Cali clean air sticker on my truck so I can idle as long as im not withing 100 feet of a residential area.

    To name two exemptions off the top of my head.

    New Jersey. 5 min idle limit but if your truck is equipped with a DPF and you are in the sleeper, you can idle for "driver comfort".

    Pennsylvania. 5 min idle limit but your truck is exempt if it has a California Clean Idle sticker.
