I live in Cumberland County TN, between Crossville and Rockwood. I bought 6 acres with an old trailer here in 2001. Cheapest local taxes in the state of Tennessee.
Very friendly people. About 40 miles from Knoxville, 120 mi from Nashville, 75 from Chattanooga. I-40 runs straight thru this county. The winters get a bit cold up
here because of the altitude and Mountains, but not like up north. Plenty of cheap real estate around here for sale. If you like privacy and the out doors you would
love it here. Low crime and decent schools. People around here mind their own business. One of the best areas east of the Mississippi river to retire in. you would
live within a 2 hour drive of hundreds of trucking companies of all types looking to hire all types of drivers.

That's kinda the feeling I got when I was up there for orientation in 2007. A friend of mine showed me a cabin she found recently on nine acres on craigslist very reasonable.

In eight months I will be able to hit my 401k and pay off my house, leaving me debt free and single (widowed). I've been playing with the idea but don't know if I will ever pull the trigger. The only thing I have left here of importance is my daughter and grandson.

I'm going to keep studying on it as they say.

There isn't any jobs in my area like this, I'm not willing to relocate to yours, and to the OP, at .49CPM, To gross $80,000, that roughly 164,000 miles, divided that buy 364 and you get an average of 450 a day he would need to drive

I clicked on the link and it did say .49 and a $3000 sign on bonus but didn't mention any extras that would make up the difference. Who the heck knows.

    I was thinking 3300 miles a week @.62 about $2050
    must be $100000/year job
    and 660/day = home daily
will it be ok if I pass?
I promise to not get too smart and get smarter by 1/2
