Oh and it is not illegal to use a cell phone. Heck I do not even have to touch my phone to make a call. -
I can call or send a text to any phone number in the world without touching or looking at my screen. Maybe you missed the point where the driver swerved twice, hit him the third time then he ditched it to avoid a possible 4th. Back out of it and let them go in the ditch alone then carry on. Now matter how generous I'm feeling this was 100% preventable.

Excuse me fellas I didnt catch the part about the OP passing a swerving drunk driver on the right, so just disregard that last reply of mine, have a safe one.
-
Well, the OP not only learned that YES indeed, the wreck was his fault, but it was totally avoidable and he's kinda screwed for another driving job for a while. Gotta love TTR.
Tonythetruckerdude and Mr.X Thank this. -

I would hope that a driver wouldnt have the attitude of just slamming into someone because the 4 wheeler made a mistake. When its your family driving down the road would you want the trucks around them have that attitude?
Dumdriver Thanks this. -
It will come up on the employment verification that all companies are required to do for the entire three years of employment history. (Well, as long as that history involved a commercial vehicle.) It may very well come up on your HiireRight (DAC) report as well if it was ruled preventable.
