UGHHHH. NEVER, ever, fall in love with a truck. It's just a truck I've driven brand new trucks that couldn't turn a dollar as well as 15-20 year old trucks that made me money hand over fist.

NEVER fall in love with a truck. It's just a tool to make you money. Nothing more. :)

    austinmike and Lepton1 Thank this.

I remember one visit to Springfield, OH - the end of the conversation was 'Well, I'm going to call Omaha and see how much they want me to yell at you.' (verbatim)
I think safety guy knew by my quiet 'Do what you've got to do.' that if he started yelling I was coming over that desk and his face wouldn't like it. You don't try to stir up the ones who become quieter when they're pissed...

I was told by the receptionist to be on my way: Safety holds were lifted.

Lepton1, tinytim and Boattlebot Thank this.

That's good but depending on what happened there's more then one safety guy on certain matters. In your case you should be fine,no money or any damage so treat today as just another fun day in the trucking indusrty, lol

    (BALL BUSTING TIME)
Now that you learned your lesson (hopefully...) Worst part is some wise ### will look for the truck you posted a pic of a couple of days ago.
(Advice time....) Learn from your mistake and try NOT to let it happen again. (Think twice, do once.) All drivers have been in your position a time or two before. Don't let em BS you. LEARN FROM IT. It only takes a couple mins to walk it and a few hours to undo it.

ncmickey, Boattlebot and Lepton1 Thank this.
