not familiar with this particular problem but having extensive dealing with John H, their supposed safety manager, I can assure you he is a biased, ignorant ###. I have never had problems working with anyone but H had preconceived opinions about everthing without knowing facts. I have witnessed him weaving in and out of traffic dangerously, speeding excessively in speed zones and other bad safety habits with no concern for others. And he is a safety expert? Get serious! He has no people skills and no personality except when it benefits himself. I worked for PTL in different positions several years and why they hired this moron ...no clue. As an experienced management person, I can assure you the recruiting, training and safety departments would have been more efficient and better managed had they fired him years ago!!

You might want to not post last names on a public forum.

After reading your post several times I think I have figured out what has happened. I think you went to a clinic that charges for their testing. These clinics will not test you and they will not provide a "cup" until the fee is paid. This happened to me in California back in the 90s. My company got me tested that day. YOU made the mistake of leaving the clinic untested. A fricking state DOT officer is NOT the person to be asking about this afterward. This comment is directed to anybody else reading this. NEVER under any circumstances leave a testing facility without that chain of custody form unless YOUR SAFETY DEPT HAS EXPRESSLY TOLD YOU TO GO. This does not mean somebody in operations either. ONLY SAFETY can let you leave. Once you leave without safety's OK it is considered refusal to test.

So did I. However this threads age makes me think my comment is right. I don't think trucking carriers use these type clinics that charge up front much anymore. However they once did big time! Actually I think more and more carriers are self testing whenever possible.
