    I got hit in parking lots several times when I was there. I didn't even deal with Safety. I just dealt with claims.

    I think it mostly depends on where they send you and which truck stops you end up parking at. Since I've been at Landstar I've only been hit once.

    Sure, Swift was within their rights to fire him for this, as they’d be within their rights to fire somebody for tying their boots wrong.

    However, that doesn’t change my personal opinion of that being a ##### move on their part, and is yet another on a laundry list of reasons why Swift Transportation is a sorry place to work.

    As far as I’m concerned, no citation and favorable police report means no fault, and last time I looked at the Smith System I saw absolutely nothing pertaining to the crystal ball required to predict some unseen idiot’s manic behavior, so due to karma not being a very nice lady some people in here would do well to come from their horses IF a tall enough ladder can be found.

    2016 -2018 they had almost 2200 wrecks with 617 injuries & 67 fatalities. They hold a$ 5 million insurance policy per driver.
