i did fall IN THE TRUCK a few nights ago. it actually ended pretty bad i got a massive cut on my foot. i had to make a bandaid out of duct tape. been driving with 1 shoe otherwise it hurts haha...i was parked slightly not level and just lost it. went straight backwards into the dash. still, not on ice so it doesnt count...

So you're just gonna save up that ice fall for another day? I'd take the truck fall and stop testing my luck, personally. :biggrin_255:

Sounds like you need some good first aid.

BTW yesterday, counted at least 23 bears grabbing rigs eastbound on the 10 in AZ from Phoenix to New Mexico. NO 4 wheelers. One driver had 5 parked behind his rig. OOOUUUCCHHH. Talk about your slip and fall!!!

That is my home state Highway Patrol:yes2557:, the 5 were spliting up the cash and weed they found in the dubbies truck:biggrin_25512:

I went for an adventure tonight, I got stuck driving off the off ramp onto a road going up to a rest stop! There was about 6 inches of snow on. The ground where the plows missed it and my darn AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION trick got stuck in it, my chains are all broken and worthless, then I called z tow truck and he got me out, and then Steve in the shop asked me to help him locate a driver tyhat they thought was out if position... I found him and he is good to go. I'm very tired after I did my 6 stops in Green River and Rock Springs, and now I am in Larimie for my next stop then on to the Denver term. To drop a few pieces anf then a 57 piecer in Denver.

VANNA CAN I HAVE A "BEER LOAD?"

    Good night TD24

After $500 worth of diagnostics, turns out the problem was a defective oil filter they just put in the truck...As soon as they changed it out, it ran like a purring kitty!...Rolled a few hundred miles last night and just under 700 today to get here in Romulus, MI for 3am unload then I have a 3hr drive to Cleveland for final destination...Then, home for anniversary(Valentines Day), hopefully...

All you Homers just go home, I missed my home time when I was siring in Nashville. I don't go next trip till March 10 then be home for 7 then back out till beginning of May around the 6th as that is Mrs. TD24's birthday. I'm in Denver dropped at the terminal then took the 57 bags of styrofoam brick inserts to there home, then back to the terminal to turn in my trip env. with a total of 3700 miles
and 8 stops with over 75 pieces, Mrs. TD24 is going to be happy to see that check, she is always concerned that we are spending to much of the business I sold's money. I am so looking forward to spring:yes2557:

I am tired of this white stuff everywhere and messing up the roads.:biggrin_25523:

Well I'm officially an owner operator now. Signed the contact yesterday and will probably take off on my first trip early next week. I'm still getting the truck ready... putting on logos, dot number, gvw etc.. I'll be gone for a while so want to make sure everything is hunky dory before leaving out.

    AF461, American-Trucker and wulfman75 Thank this.

Congrats, I hope it is a good move for you, I'm also looking into it pretty seriously, I want to wait till I pass my 1 year mark. Good Luck, You should start a thread of the treatment and show some numbers every now and then. Take Care TD24
