WS drivers whats your 20

hello people ,have been reading alot of posts on here the last week,and just joined so i may ask yall a few things..i was a local trucker for 15 years,but have been outta it for 10 years,still have my cdl,(and no points or accidents) and im sure i can still handle the truck with no problems..am i gonna be treated as im just outta school or even worse? ive read good posts on watkins shepard or did i miss the bad ones?

 

You may need to do the full 10 day orientation like everyone else...We have no driver/trainer program so after that you're on your own!

 

Being out of the truck for 10 years, you may have to go to school again, I was out of the truck for 14 years and had to take the 30 day school (when ws still had it). Best thing to do is call recruiting to find out for sure.

ok thanks alot for the info,i filled an app out(fri) on a site that has like 100 different companys,the first few that responded were cre and werner(which ive seen nothing good written about)its now sunday and theres like 15 responces.thank god ws is one of them ,i will deffinatly give em a call.and hopfully chat with yall again with some good news

Some place in Iowa...Elk Ridge Heights I believe. Will be making a visit to the Iowa 80 T/S tomorrow for an hour or so! looking forward to it. Found out I'm in Elk RUN Heights....I'm tired!
