they both are, but coolant does better with no load or hills like out here. it would still go to 230 a lot with even the tiniest hills, and fast. but it seems to follow the oil as it goes into the 230s. when i was last heavy they both were just out of control. but they do affect eachother.

im still thinking water pump, your cooling system only has a few simple parts, if your not loosing coolant, and its not your thermistat, you either have a bad water pump or you have a sensor miss reading your temp.

As for the oil temp, it could be a bad oil cooler, but usually in that case your loosing oil or have low or no oil pressure because its plugged up...

Running to Wyoming (Lovell) for a drop. Rumor has it that we might be heading to Ohio next, but I'll believe it when we see it.

Think I'm getting ready for hometime; I seem to be sleeping anytime I'm not driving. :smt099 Guess we have been out another four or five weeks already...

I've been all over the west coast recently...Made it to SFS on Saturday for a delivery 3 miles from terminal...As I was sitting there on Sunday, 1/2 of a team walked up and said they just got QC'd that 2 teams broke down and they were looking for people to help out AND that the loads were heading EAST...That was all I needed to hear...I QC'd and called CMS instantly and within 10 minutes had a load I had to pick up in Coachella, CA heading to Artmore, AL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...A nice 2000 mile run and 2/3 of the way home and I had put in for HMT this weekend as it's father's day so it worked out great for me...I ran 693 miles yesterday and 705 today leaving only 712 to go!...Barring any delays, I should be able to knock this out in 3 days, woohoo!!!!!!!...I then hope to get a run to Atlanta so I can get to Dalton and get a midnight run to KY and HMT!!!!!!!....I love it when a plan comes together!!!!!!!!

And, this was the first time I didn't see 20 people sitting at SFS, there was only me and 2 other trucks...

Currently sitting at TA in San Antonio, TX...
