WTF DAT load board

    Recently the DAT loads have gone to crap. Nothing but crappy low rated brokerages, and $1.50/mile flatbed loads. Sad day when TQL is the shining star. Anyone else getting this, or just my area? I don’t even want to waste my time calling about posts with offers that low. All this talk of rates going up due to ELDs, or driver shortages is a #### lie. Is Truckstop showing any better?

    Dunno about your area, but every load I post goes up on DAT as well as ITS. I just checked the 'search loads' function for a lane I'm running - I see in the lane matches: 100 with 28 days to pay, 100 with 30 days, 99 with 36, 100 with 36, 100 with 36, and 100 with 34 (us). And that's with a quick ten second search.

    Why not call the ones without prices listed and negotiate a rate more to your liking?

    There are a few. I’m saying most the brokers posting there recently are poorly rated with extremely long pay cycles. The decent ones that were there a month ago seem to have disappeared. I’m not desperate for work, just making an observation. Generally I post my truck wherever I am. When they call me the rates are always better than calling them.

    It was just a question. I had heard that DAT was sold out recently, so I thought maybe the good brokerages jumped ship in favor of the other boards.

    It's just slow everywhere this week. From next week we are going into busy season. It should start really good with the safety week and lots of people staying home
