The 14 ft width would be no issue, it’s the 95ft length that would concern me. Easy to high center...especially if you drop a tire off the asphalt on a switchback. Well...good thing he isn’t heavy.

Oh well, scratch that idea.SAR Thanks this. -
Seems stupid imo. How is a guy supposed to plan his trip if he won't find out which way he is routed till he is already into his day? -
I went across all the way across 80 12' wide a week ago

I went through there last month at 125 long, 14'10" High and 200K lbs. Had to submit everything to the superload office in Helena and get it approved before getting an entry number. They approved my route as I80 all the way across. Pulled into the Cheyenne POE and got parked for an hour because of the Green River tunnel that they needed to reroute me around. The tunnel isn't tall enough for me to physically fit through. You would think the DOT HQ might know about that. Finally got the approval to go through town but oh yeah that's a 2 lane road so now I have 4 hours to either find a same day escort or park and wait. Luckily I had my chase car from Nebraska still even though I didn't need him.
For the most part WY routing is easy enough. Most loads are running 80 or 90 across or cutting between the 2. It the random work zones that can get you.
God help you if you roll in there without a clearance number.kylefitzy, cke, Truckermania and 3 others Thank this. -
Ya i know about the clearance number. I just had a brain fart and temporarily forgot how stupid wyoming is.
You know a state is messed up when Ohio and new York have more common sense.
Speaking of Ohio. You no longer have to get your fuel stops and bathroom breaks routed. Earlier this year i ran a wide load into ohio and i found out they now allow you to exit the interstate to hit a truck stop as long as you don't have to go under or over a bridge in order to do so. I don't know when that changed but I'm so glad it did. Having to plan your trip to route getting off the interstate to take a leak was a bit much. I'm all for good pepper trip planning but expecting me to know where im going to need to stop and take a piss at before ordering the permit 3 days ahead of time is pretty freaking extreme.snowman_w900, stwik and Gunner75 Thank this. -
