Made it to Burley, Wyoming routed us down 59, over to casper out 26, to down 789 to Lander, then 287 to 28 to 191 back to 80. Was a nice route. Desolate as all hell though.
However i get here and do a post trip, mind you i did a load check at the first rest area on I84 in Idaho and found this. #### rail is separating from the frame rails. Cant be fixed while loaded, and cant get unloaded till tuesday.

That would ruin my day for sure. Did you make your destination already? Or are you going to unload it where it’s at, have it fixed then reload it for the rest of the trip?
Man that sucks either way!!!Gunner75 and johndeere4020 Thank this. -
At least that's a simple fix for a competent welder.johndeere4020 Thanks this.

I'm a half mile from my consignee, it's got 9 other chains and only weighs 25k. Il deliver tuesday then they will decide to either send me to the shop for 2 days of work, or bounce me back empty and still pay me mileage pay from here to MilwaukeeTug Toy and johndeere4020 Thank this.

The parts that are broke are aluminum, every bolt to the rail, and then to the frame rails under deck boards. Trailking did it that way to save on weight... personally i think it was a dumb idea.Tug Toy, sawmill, LoneCowboy and 1 other person Thank this.

I have a great story that happened in Farson, 39 years ago. Great story!!
I'm sure I've had a couple tubs of vanilla ice cream from the store as I turned to head toward South Pass, life back in the old days.Last edited: Aug 14, 2018

So we made delivery a day early, the three of us went into the job site 14wide down a haul road that was only 12ft2in wide with a soft ### shoulder that went straight into the snake river in Burley. We all told them to clear out some of the hillside or the loads were gonna sit. The complained that theu didn't have time to do that and told us to just get the loads in there. We in turn advised them that since we come on site early at their request, that our detention rates started 2hours after arrival time. They figured out that it was cheaper to pay a bulldozer operator for 2hours of work than it was to pay detention for us 3 to sit. The site manager didn't understand that we are responsible for the load all the way up till its lifted off the trailer.
LoneCowboy, Tug Toy, mtoo and 2 others Thank this.
