too many times, these turn into the "my #### is bigger than yours" comments, and someone ends up telling the others to drive or park. In the end, is your freight or paycheck worth more than your life, or seeing your family?

The video was full of drivers like him. He's probably most like the one in the blue century class car hauler or the Fed Ex guy.

Should us slow and cautious trucks stop and check on all the "seasoned" truck drivers that are wrecked and Jack knifed? Or can we just slowly wiggle thru the carnage and keep going?

For what it's worth I do understand what @STexan is saying.. If you're to skeered get off the road, those people can cause havoc but there are those that appear to not respect conditions and others..

I was behind a snow plow on a two lane hwy each direction with median. At times I watch plows before I pass to check out any bounce and what have you for a moment if there's a need. I was sitting back do to a snow cloud surrounding the plow. Just as I started to speed up to pass on the left I caught headlights in my passenger side mirror

It was a truck and trailer barreling thru i had no idea it was there until then. this driver didnt take one ounce caution on anything. The driver almost hit the plow. I backed off to give room.. I had no choice or else

If you are driving beyond your vision or ability to stop within that vision, you are a danger to everyone. Everyone who crashed into that pile up, and the one two days later, where all driving too fast for conditions. There were a handful of trucks that were able to stop before the pile up, but then were ran into by the next idiot driving too fast.

And the attitude of those like Stexan, that everyone should drive like him is just wrong. There are so few spots to actually get off the interstate in wyoming, that a vehicle driving slowly in a snow storm is a common occurrence. They had no idea what they were getting into.

That is why the Wy DOT now closes the roads at the town before the problem, to prevent the idiots from over crowding that town. And then they open the road to traffic in sections to try and keep the idiots spread out.
